Christoph Gebel has been working for the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG) since 2001, inter alia, as head of programme at former radio DRS 1 and later as head of entertainment at Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen SRF. At SRF, he is member of the Executive Board and heads the Operations department. Before joining the SRG, Christoph worked for the private sector in Biel. He was founder and director of Radio CANAL 3, founder and delegate of the Board of Directors of TeleBielingue and media director of Gassmann AG.

Fanny Ambühl

Fanny Ambühl is a lawyer and joined the SRF Legal Services in 2016 as legal advisor. In Spring 2020, she moved to the SRG Legal Services. In 2021, she took over the co-management of the SRG Legal Service. In 2017, she became a broadcasters’ delegate and in 2021 also a member of the broadcasters’ specialist group in the collecting society SWISSPERFORM. Since 2018, she has been a member of the editorial advisory board of Medialex magazine. Fanny Ambühl studied law at the University of Basel. Beforehand she worked as a lawyer for the law firm Beutler Künzi Stutz AG, specialized in immaterial goods, media and IT, as well as for the Federal Intellectual Property Agency.

Markus Baumer

Markus Baumer is CFO of Radio Fribourg and of the ad production company Mediapub (Mediapub SA). He is the delegate of the board of directors of La Télé (Vaud Fribourg TV SA), member of the board of directors of the advertising magazine Sept.info (Sept.ch SA) and the appointed treasurer among the board members of the association of Swiss Private Radios (VSP).

Roger Elsener

He has been Managing Director for TV at the AZ Medien AG and a member of the Executive Management since September 2013. In addition to the TV sector, Elsener has been responsible for the radio sector since 2017 and became Managing Director of the TV and radio sector. Since CH Media has been launched (October 2018), Elsener has been responsible for the sectors TV, radio and film distribution. In his previous position, Elsener had been in charge of the operational business of TV channels 3+ and 4+ as COO at the 3 Plus Group. Before that, he held several executive positions, among others at Viacom International Media Networks, where he worked as Managing Director in the Swiss broadcasters’ group (MTV, VIVA, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central), and Vice President Commerce in Central and Northern Europe for Nickelodeon. Elsener studied media and communication sciences with a focus on media economics at Zurich University and completed the course with a lic.phil. degree (licenciate) in 2003.

Dr. Jascha Schneider-Marfels

Dr. Jascha Schneider-Marfels is an independent attorney-at-law in Basel. He has worked as a journalist for various radio and TV broad­casters in Switzerland for many years. His legal activities are focussed on media law and providing consulting to SMEs. Since 2015, Dr. Jascha Schneider-Marfels has been a lecturer at the University of Basel. Since 2013 he has been a broadcasters’ delegate at Swissperform.
